Club Chairmen Prepare Reports for District
Community Service Program and Advancement Area Chairmen for the GFWC Grundy Woman’s Club started the prep work today for their reports that will be sent on to the Southwestern District later this month.
Reports are a big part of our year because we want to make sure every volunteer hour, every donation, and every project combines with every other club in the General Federation of Women’s Clubs. These statistics allow GFWC representatives to demonstrate our collective strength and seriousness in respect to certain projects and causes.
From the club level, they move up to District. Then, on to State! And one of the perks of reporting is the awards clubs can win on both District and State levels.
In photos, you’ll see us – heads down and pens poised in our hands. However, what you don’t see are the moments of excitement, chaos, shouting, laughing, and general hilarity that typically occur every time we get together. Reporting is a lot of work, but that doesn’t mean we have to be serious the whole time.
