Grundy Club to Host Free Breast Cancer Awareness Event
The GFWC Grundy Woman’s Club will host Ladies Night Out on Thursday, Oct. 3 at Grundy Baptist Church.
Beginning at 6 p.m., the event will feature free admission, free food, and door prizes, as well as vendors, raffle items, and a powerful ‘voices of survivors and caregivers’ segment.
Bras for a Cause Returns
The event is also bringing back Bras for a Cause – a fundraiser inviting Relay for Life teams, civic organizations, churches, businesses, or individuals to decorate and enter their bra for $10 per entry. Each bra will receive monetary donations throughout the night, which will determine the one earning the most popular vote. First prize will be displayed at Appalachian Family Health Care, located in Food City at Vansant.
Proceeds of the event will go toward the GFWC Grundy Woman’s Club’s Relay for Life sponsorship.
